- Preparing To Camp
Yes. If you stay at Mono Village RV Park, we can spot a trailer for you, and let you know where it is. If you would like to stay in a USFS campground in the spring or fall, we can help you get a site, too. Please call to discuss this.
- Check-in time is 2:00 PM. Please allow extra time for delivery during the busy summer season—we promise we’re going as fast as we can.
- Check-out is 10:00 AM. In the spring and fall, please call and we can arrange an early or late check-out, if available.
Our check-in process is about as easy as it gets.
- If you gave us a campsite number, your trailer will be parked in that site on your check-in date
- Your trailer will be locked with your key outside on trailer tongue .
- If you are a pre-park at Mono Village: When you arrive, you will check in at Mono Village’s check-in gate, and your name and site number will be on a list we’ve provided. If you would like to pick your own site, please be there before check-in time, look for a site, then let the front gate know where you would like us to position your unit.
- If you have family or friends that get here earlier and you won’t be arriving until late, please let them know to call us with your site number. We’re happy to park your rental next to them.
- Please let your family know that if they are already in the following sections in Mono Village:We do NOT park in the F section, or in the upper A and upper B sections where it gets steep. Please don’t have family park in these areas unless you don’t mind being in a site away from them.
- Will-calls will need to be pre-approved.

- While You Camp
Yes. Our trailers have ample freshwater storage tanks. We fill your freshwater tank before delivering your trailer, and can replenish it if needed for a small fee. Again, it’s a wise practice to conserve your water while camping. Download this tip sheet on conserving water in an RV.
We come by two times per week to check on you and make sure you’re comfortable and everything is okay. If you have any problems, we will fix them at that time. If you find you need something when we’re not there, please call in the morning to let us know how we can help you. This service is included in your visit—Comfort Check-Ins do not cost extra. It’s part of how we treat you like family.
- Camp Outfitting
We provide:
- toilet paper (We can replenish if requested.)

This is a basic list of suggested items to bring. Everyone’s needs will be different, so spend some time thinking about what you’ll need, because once you get to your campsite, supplies can be expensive, a bit far away, or both.
- Queen bed sheets or sleeping bags

- ZipLoc bags
- Trash bags/ small trash can
- Hand/Dish soap
- Showering Items (shampoo/body wash)
- Sponges
- Pots and pans
- Paper plates
- Cooking utensils
- Plastic forks, knives and spoons
- Cups
- Can opener
- Lighter
- Flashlights
- Astroturf or similar entry mat
- EZ-up or other pop-up canopy or screened gazebo. No awnings are provided. If you get a trailer that has one, it is locked. DO NOT TRY TO PUT IT DOWN.
- Breaking Camp
- When your stay with us has ended, please leave the trailer in the clean condition it was in when you first entered. Please wipe everything down and use the mop, broom and bucket provided to clean the floor of any dirt, sand, mud and debris. If the trailer is left dirty, we will assess a $200 cleaning fee.
- If you leave before your scheduled check out time please call us so we can pick up the unit. You are responsible for the unit until your scheduled check out time so please call if you leave early.
- Leave the door locked and key on the trailer tongue.
- Close the door behind you the last time you leave and lock it.
- To make sure our customers continue to be welcomed at area campgrounds, please police your site for trash and either dispose of it in provided campground receptacles or pack it out with you.
